HOW LONG WILL MY APPOINTMENT TAKE?
When booking your special occasion/formal makeup appointment, please allow for 60 minutes. If you are booking a bridal makeup trial, please allow 90 minutes. For bridal parties, your confirmation booking email will detail the timing of your wedding day.
DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Yes, a non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment which varies in price based on service and group size. Your appointment may be cancelled at any time without paying the booking fee unless otherwise stated by Amy upon booking.
Your booking is fully secured upon email confirmation of payment of your booking fee.
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
All makeup used is hypo-allergenic, durable, and lightweight. Only professional products include Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, Napoleon, Hourglass, NARS, Laura Mercier, MAC Cosmetics, and more.
I only use the best quality products that I've personally had experience with myself to ensure that your results are long-lasting, natural, and flawless!!
WILL THE MAKEUP LAST ALL DAY?
Yes, your makeup is designed to last all day and night.
However, if you tend to become a little shiny throughout the day I recommend investing in a quality powder for touch-ups.
All makeup applications are provided with a touch-up lip kit, so this is something you will not need to purchase prior to your appointment with me.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY BOOKING?
Please refer to my full Terms and Conditions for all services. Which states cancellations for event makeup and wedding bookings.
DO YOU PROVIDE A MOBILE MAKEUP SERVICE?
Yes, the majority of my work is done through my mobile makeup service. I do have a minimum booking number for mobile bookings.
Travel fees do apply so it is best to get in contact with me for a more detailed quote.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY BOOKING?
Cleanse and moisturise the morning of. Please arrive with a clean face - No makeup
If you have sensitive eyes please use eyedrops or take a hay fever tablets before your arrival
If you would like your décolletage highlighted please wear a strapless or singlet top
Please bring a photo for reference of the makeup look you wish to recreate
DO YOU OFFER MAKEUP TRIALS?
Most brides prefer to have a trial prior to their wedding day. It is not essential, but to make sure that you will be 100 percent happy on the wedding day, a trial is advisable. I will help you make informed decisions on the styles you want. I will spend time listening to your requests and will offer lots of helpful advice and ideas when asked. However, the final decision on the style is yours. I will be there to give you the guidance you need. With trials, it will also allow you to wear the makeup for the day and see how it feels and holds up in preparation for your wedding day. Then come the day of your wedding, we would have the look nailed down already and everything will be stress-free! If you choose not to book a trial, I will work with you on your day to ensure you are 100% happy with the outcome.
I also offer trials for formals as well, if requested.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK YOU FOR MY WEDDING MAKEUP?
It's important to secure your appointment as early on as possible to avoid your Makeup Artist being unavailable on your Wedding Day. You want not only your special day but the experience of planning it to run as smoothly and stress-free as possible.
